RunCam 5 Orange is an updated version of the RunCam 5 action camera, which has changed not only the color, but also a number of significant changes.
The camera is equipped with a new microprocessor that supports EIS image stabilization. Combined with a high-performance Sony IMX377 12MP sensor, the RunCam 5 Orange offers smoother and better quality video.
The upgraded processor ensures ultra-low power consumption. The 4K 30fps video recording time has increased to 105 minutes, which is 40% longer than other similar cameras on the market.
In changing camera settings via the RunCam mobile app, added shutter speed settings, ISO limit selection, as well as on/off the new video image stabilization function.
Unlike the previous version, where video recording in 2.7K format was conducted at 50fps, in RunCam Orange the number of frames per second has increased to 60fps.
The 38x38x36mm body dimensions are identical to the GoPro Session 5, so all 3D printed mounts created for the Session fit the Runcam 5 as well.
Note: Image stabilization is only supported for 4K 30fps, 1080P 60fps video recording (new firmware will have changes).
